The
HOME OWNERSHIP PRIDE PROGRAM, or HOPP, is a
program established by the non-profit,
Northglenn Neighborhood Development
Corporation (NNDC). HOPP provides Northglenn
home owners access to innovative educational workshops,
discounted design
services, and other services related to home
improvement. HOPP's mission is to increase the
pride of the Northglenn community, by showing
home owners the tremendous value gained if they invest
in their homes and property. HOPP is working to enrich
Northglenn neighborhoods for this and future
generations.
HOPP offers annual household memberships for just $50
per year ($25 for seniors and disabled persons).
The program is open to all Northglenn
residents. HOPP members receive a
variety of benefits, including free admission to a
series of HOPP Homeowner Workshops, discounted
architectural design services, and special HOPP Partner
programs. Each of these are detailed below.
Advantages of Home Improvement
Home improvement can lead to higher home values, lower
energy costs, enhanced home safety, and increased living
comfort for homeowners. Whether it's adding
living space, refurbishing a basement, adding exterior
lighting, installing new windows, landscaping the
yard, or other
projects, HOPP is here to help. Through the success of a
coordinated program like HOPP, whole blocks can be positively
impacted. Home owner pride is
perpetuating and contagious. HOPP gives Northglenn
home owners a unique opportunity to enrich their neighborhood
for this and future generations.
Affordable Design Services
HOPP offers members architectural design services at
reduced costs. HOPP can help members recreate their
homes to
accommodate growing families or changing needs. HOPP's
aim is to make the design process easy and understandable.
Most significantly, HOPP will work with members to ensure the
project scope and costs are within the member's limits.

HOPP Home Owner Workshops
HOPP members receive free admission to the regular
series of interactive educational seminars presented by the
NNDC. Topics include reverse mortgages, home energy
savings, general home improvement tips, and many more.
